Tesamorelin is a synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) designed for greater enzymatic stability than native GHRH. It is used in laboratory research on GH pulsatility, IGF-1–related signaling, somatotroph function, and models of visceral fat and metabolic regulation.
